Explore MINI Electric Charging Network
With a completely new Electric model being launched, MINI needed a way of communicating the advantages of electric mobility over traditional fuel vehicles whilst reassuring prospects over the availability of charging network. There was limited information on range, imagery and charging times available, meaning we needed to design and build a site on small amounts of detail.
Taking inspiration from the functionality of our BMW i3 site, we created an enhanced web application that enabled a user to interact more with the site and deliver aspirational messaging. This wasn’t a simple re-skin of an existing site. We overhauled how a user defines their commute, aligned savings to quantifiable rewards and re-focused on a remote web experience, thus delivering an optimised web experience as opposed to an in-retailer touchscreen solution.
Since launch in February 2020, MINI Electric has had over:
