The National Trust and BMW i
One of our favourite projects of recent years – the chance to explain the partnership between the National Trust and BMW i (the electric sub-brand of BMW).
We were tasked with presenting a clear link between these two major brands and highlighting the natural synergy of the partnership – this is far more than a simple sponsorship. BMW are driving the installation of electric vehicle charge points in many of the National Trust properties ensuring accessibility and sustainable travel for their owners, as well as, in a small way, helping to maintain the natural beauty of the locations that the NT care for across the country.
North Wales. Mid-winter. What could possibly go wrong? Every weather condition imaginable (horizontal snow anyone?…) over two long shoot days with our lovely BMW i and National Trust clients and starring the BMW i3 at Penrhyn Castle, a sustainably powered property. Fantastic views of Conwy Bay and Snowdonia – if it’s good enough for Game of Thrones we fancied our chances of making it look epic. And we did. Who knew the winter tyres on the Juice shoot van would come in quite so handy!
Two films of which we are very proud now sit on their social channels. The BMW i3 shot against a combination of incredible National Trust scenery, drone footage, waterfalls and mountain roads delivered with snappy on-screen text to convey a message of the urgent need for sustainability, now and for future generations.
